This policy explains how topics are selected, researched, written, reviewed, corrected, disclosed, and maintained by the Adda Chile Editorial Team.
Our editorial mission
Adda Chile Travel aims to make travel planning and introductory relocation research about Chile easier to understand. We prioritize practical explanations, realistic preparation, clear limitations, and links or references that help readers verify changing information.
Authorship and editorial identity
Content may be published under the “Adda Chile Editorial Team” byline when it is developed, revised, or maintained as publication-level work rather than as a personal essay. We do not attribute invented residences, jobs, trips, credentials, or firsthand experiences to an author. When genuine individual expertise or firsthand reporting is relevant, it should be identified accurately and only with the contributor’s permission.
Topic selection
Topics are chosen according to reader usefulness, gaps in existing coverage, common planning difficulties, seasonal relevance, and the need to clarify complicated or changing information. Search interest may inform topic selection, but articles should not be created solely to repeat material already available elsewhere.
Research standards
We prefer official and primary sources for legal requirements, public transportation, protected areas, government services, safety notices, immigration procedures, and other changeable facts. Secondary sources may provide context, comparison, or practical explanation. Important claims should be cross-checked when possible.
Digital and AI-assisted tools
Digital tools may assist with organization, drafting, language, formatting, or identifying areas that require research. They do not replace source checking, editorial judgment, or responsibility for published material. Content should be reviewed before publication, and unsupported claims, invented experiences, fake quotations, and fabricated sources are not acceptable.
Travel recommendations and comparisons
Recommendations should explain selection criteria, limitations, intended traveler type, and relevant trade-offs. We do not claim to have personally tested a service or destination unless that is true and can be accurately represented. Availability, prices, and service quality can change.
Commercial independence
Advertising, affiliate programs, sponsorships, free products, hosted experiences, or partnerships must not determine factual conclusions. Sponsored material and material commercial relationships should be disclosed. Advertisers do not receive advance approval of independent editorial content unless fact-checking their own technical details is necessary.
Images, maps, and media
Images and media should be original, properly licensed, used with permission, or legally available under applicable terms. Credits and license conditions should be preserved when required. Illustrative images must not be presented as documentary evidence of a specific event or firsthand experience.
Corrections and updates
Factual errors should be corrected promptly. Material changes may receive an editor’s note or updated date. Minor grammar, formatting, and clarity improvements may be made without a separate notice. See our Corrections Policy for the reporting process.
Reader responsibility
Editorial review reduces errors but cannot guarantee that rapidly changing information remains current. Readers should verify critical travel, legal, immigration, safety, medical, insurance, and financial decisions with official authorities or qualified professionals.
